Representation of women's in politics

Women candidates appear less often in the media than their male equals. Political parties tend to not put women candidates in feasible positions. There are many women who are willing to become candidates and it is probable that individuals desires are formed over a long period of time. The media sexism plays a vital role for women's political participation. Women are still not given place of importance in politics and governance. As we all can see that there are many political parties led by men which indicates that as much as the African union has upgraded notably in its women representation within the numerous organs, the leadership of it's constituent states still lacks female state leaders. The sexism negatively affects women aptitude to conquer stereotype undermining their status and the upward movement of women in society. And the women's percentage in parliament is 45% and what about the other 5%, we want the equality right?

Feminist Christian Theology

Who said God was a male? People think that God is a male because of how the the Bible has represented him. Most of the time He is often referred as 'He' or 'Him' which has left a lot of people inquisitive about how do they know gender of God because he is an unknowable God. And there are verses which corroborate that no one knows God which are as follows: 1 John 4:12 No one has seen God at any time . If we love one another, God abides in us and His love has been perferected in us. Exodus 33:20 But He said," You cannot see my face; for no man shall see Me and live" The Bible has molded our mind that we can't picture God as female. And God is powerful, strong, loving, caring etc. of which men and women do have these qualities So why can't you have mental perception that God is a female?

Domestic Violence

Domestic abuse is not constrained to violence but also appealing to the emotions and verbal abuse which sends many to depression to early grave It is fact that men have been labelled as abusers that there are may NGO's which fight against women abuse and protect them by building shelters to escape from abuse, giving them the fresh start by providing legal advice and counselling But then again, WHAT ABAOUT MEN THAT EXPERIENCE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE? There is huge number of men who experience domestic violence but wouldn't disclose that to anyone or hesitant to report abuse due to various reasons which are as follows: They are ashamed They got the belief that no one will believe them They are threatened, etc. And these above-mentioned reasons have made many to stay in toxic relationship, unable to report to authorities because they fear that they are going to become a laughing stock. The abuse can cause serious effect on the emotional well-being of an individual. So...

Sexual Harassment

Sexual harassment is totally erroneous or wrongdoing. In fact, it is unlawful. Women and girls experience sexual harassment in public places it can be workplace, clubs, schools, institutions etc Being sexually harassed can make someone hate the environment they're in, especially in the workplace or school. Think of it, if it was your child or your wife or sister being sexually harassed would you like it? Of course, not Why don't you learn to respect women or girls so that we know we're safe around men? Learn to honour their word when they say they don't want to be touched. It is so irritating and frustrating and makes you feel uncomfortable around a person. No woman wants to think what will happen today in the workplace or school or wherever place you are. Being scared to report this because you fear that you might be fired and you think of your family ( a whole breadwinner) I remember when I was 12, I experienced this always had to change routes each and everyday...
